Non-members wishing to submit a paper can become members by submitting an application along with the competition materials.
The dissertation must have been defended at an European University and the author must be a member of an EURO member society.
A short-list of finalists are invited to present their work in a special session of the EURO-k Conference.
An awardee may receive the Fellowship only once; it is not deferrable or renewable.
The award may be accepted without the cash prize should this be a condition for accepting an award from a different source.
The Committee reserves the right not to make any award.
